When the GPS Malfunctions

Then Saul got up from the ground and though his eyes were open, he could see nothing. So they took him by the hand and led him into Damascus. Acts 9:8

Saul was in hot pursuit of the Christians – with malice and murder on his mind! He was defending the truth as he knew it. He had the support of the synagogue leaders, which added confirmation to do the job. He believed he was doing God’s will.

Than came the flash of light. Before he knew it, Saul was face down in the dirt. That’s when Christ began to input new coordinates for his journey.

This is one of my favorite "about face" stories because I've been there so many times it hurts!

Lord, when we find ourselves on the wrong road, with wrong intentions, following after the wrong truth - strike us blind, take our hand, and lead us along the correct path.

This account is also one of my favorites, Yvette.

What mercy Saul was shown ... to hear unto seeing.
